Also at the opening on Saturday a preview of the portraits for the exhibition Portrait of an Island—my project to paint the portraits of over 150 people who live on Salt Spring Island. Portrait of an Island will be shown at the Salt Spring Art Council’s gallery in Mahon Hall in February/March 2018.
